- Select and check jigs for suitability for the work
- Assemble components
- Lay out and assemble components using jigs and appropriate fastenings
- Use hand and power tools correctly in accordance with job requirements
- Check assembled work for compliance with specifications
- Prepare, assemble and fit components in accordance with specifications
- Repair or tag work which does not meet quality specifications for further processing, recycling, or disposal in accordance with workplace procedures
- Organise and store finished products in suitable holding area
- Check work area and maintain equipment
